The Prince of Wales has been hailed as “probably the biggest cheerleader for the planet” as he arrived in Singapore before the Earthshot prize ceremony tomorrow.
Gunnlaugur Erlendsson, one of the finalists, said that William was “following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather” to repair the planet.
The prince said it was “fantastic” to be back in Singapore as he received a warm welcome at Jewel, a nature-themed complex at Changi airport, after a 13-hour commercial flight from Britain yesterday.
