Lives remembered: Nick Kuenssberg and Sir Michael Gambon
Nicholas Barber CBE writes: Nick Kuenssberg (obituary, October 3) ran Wadham’s Commem Ball in June 1963. He did so with huge drive and charm, almost single-handedly, leaving the others of us on his ball committee with no more onerous duties than selecting the champagne. He did, apologising that the man was an unknown but nevertheless an up-and-comer who was unlikely to let us down. His name was David Frost.
