Tiger Woods to return to golf at Hero World Challenge
Tournament in the Bahamas will be 15-times major winner’s first appearance in a competitive event since the Masters in April
Tiger Woods will make his latest return to professional golf later this month at the Hero World Challenge.
The 15-times major champion, who has not played since ankle surgery after the Masters in April, announced on social media on that he will play at the event that begins on November 30 at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas.
It will be his first competitive golf since he withdrew before the third round at Augusta after battling the wind and cold while playing on his injured right leg. The 20-man field will mainly feature players from the top 50 in the world rankings but, as the tournament host, Woods is entitled to an exemption.
