Life is busy. And yet, now more than ever, there exists a pressure to have an oh-so-perfect home all the time. Perhaps it’s because we’re constantly barraged with Insta-friendly interiors that we’ve forgotten that real life often takes over and that, by the end of a busy week, it’s entirely fair to be more preoccupied with laundry loads than designing an alfresco tablescape for dinner with friends. That’s why when an aesthetic comes along that’s easy — and beautiful — I feel it deserves some airtime.
