Thousands of pupils leave lessons for Gaza protests
Thousands of pupils have walked out of school to protest against the war in Israel after a campaign group told parents they would not be punished.
Children in Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, Luton and east London left their lessons to march through town centres calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
The demonstrations come a day after hundreds of young students took similar action in Tower Hamlets, east London, and gathered with placards and loudspeakers outside the office their local MP.
