Perhaps not as “ified” as Nigel Farage, the boo-hiss campmate who made his debut on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! last night for a reported £1.5 million fee but with the cork-bobbling ghost of Matt Hancock in his wake.

But whereas last time Hancock, the bad boy of Covid, felt the scorn of Boy George and the Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver (no, me neither), Nigel had a much easier early ride and came across rather well.
