IDF releases video of tunnel ‘used by Hamas’ at al-Shifa hospital
Israel has shared video of a large Hamas tunnel it claims to have discovered beneath the al-Shifa hospital in the centre of Gaza City.
The country’s military said that it had uncovered a command centre in one of the hospital’s buildings and a cache of weapons in another.
Last week the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) began its operation inside the hospital that it has long claimed has been used as a Hamas headquarters and bunker for the movement’s leadership since at least 2009.
