The humble garage used to be a place to tinker with tools and polish the car, but the space as we once knew it is slowly changing as automobiles have outgrown their former homes and clever homeowners get increasingly creative with the spare space.

It doesn’t take a mechanic to work out why there’s been a gear-shift in our priorities. Garages are often wasted parts of the house, either used as dumping grounds or not at all, particularly now our motors are better built and can be left outside to brave the elements.
