Sue Kent has a list of things she wants to achieve — such as to meet King Charles and Pierce Brosnan, to appear on BBC2’s Gardeners’ World and to star in Strictly Come Dancing.

But she has had to revise the list since getting a job as a presenter on her favourite horticultural programme.

She was working as a massage therapist, using her feet not her hands, when she first appeared on Gardeners’ World. It in June 2020, the Covid lockdown was under way, and viewers had been asked to send in videos of their gardens.
