Liverpool gang members found guilty of murdering Ashley Dale
Council worker shot dead in home with sub-machinegun had left voice notes on phone showing fear of violent reprisals from boyfriend’s associates

Four Merseyside gangsters have been found guilty of murdering a council worker who was shot dead in her home in a revenge attack intended to “send a message” to her boyfriend.
Sean Zeisz, 28, and Niall Barry, 26, sent James Witham, 41, and Joseph Peers, 29, to a house in Liverpool on August 21 last year where Ashley Dale lived with her partner, Lee Harrison.
Dale, 28, an environmental health officer for Knowsley council, was watching television with her dog when Witham kicked the door in and chased her through the house spraying bullets from a Cold War-era Skorpion sub-machinegun. After killing her he went to an upstairs bedroom and fired five shots into the wall.
