France re-wrote the record books with a 14-0 thrashing of Gibraltar at the Allianz Riviera in Nice — the biggest margin of victory in European Championship qualifying history. Kylian Mbappé led the way by scoring a hat-trick and assisting another three goals.

As if the task was not hard enough for the visiting team, who are bottom of group B having lost all of their seven matches, they had to play about 70 minutes with only ten men after Ethan Santos was sent off.
