The tsunami of celebrity-endorsed wines and spirits that have crashed onto our shelves is gob-smacking. The hip-hop star Snoop Dogg’s 2021 Cali Rosé from California landed last month, joining his 2021 Cali Red. The veteran rocker Rod Stewart took a break from touring this winter to launch Wolfie’s, a blended Scotch, and the British actor Idris Elba’s second Porte Noire Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut champagne vintage flew in this month.
